What many may not know - Kyla and Kadel attended the same Elementary school, Bell Park. But because of their age difference, they never truly crossed paths. Their Love story began on February 25, 2018, where they met at a gospel concert. As Kyla would tell it, she made the first move - As Kadel was opening the concert singing the Black national anthem, she looked to her sister Karetta and said “that is going to be my husband”. Later in the evening, Kyla approached Kadel and asked him to “get together and harmonize”. She invited him to church that Sunday, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. As Kadel would tell it, he made the first move - As Kyla was going to return her food at the event, he stopped her on her way and offered to go to the kitchen for her. To this day, the debate still stands on who made the first move.
